Campaign website

Mansharamani’s campaign website stated the following:

Securing the Border & Fixing Immigration

The uncontrolled flow of people and drugs across our borders is a national security disaster and is wreaking havoc across America. As the son of legal immigrants, Vikram believes we need a TALL WALL and WIDE GATE -- a secure border and a welcoming LEGAL immigration system. This simply cannot happen while we have an open border.

Controlling Spending & Containing Inflation

Career politicians printed, borrowed, and spent too much money, creating inflation that is crushing working families. We need to remember that inflation is a tax on all of us. It’s time to stop the out-of-control spending, repeal the inflation tax, and live within our means.

Restoring American Strength

Vikram believes in “America First, But Not Alone.” We should stand with our allies but not pass out blank checks or aid without accountability or oversight. The unholy alliance of China, Russia, and Iran must be contained. When America is strong, our adversaries take notice; when we are weak, they take advantage.

Promoting US Energy Independence

Vikram believes in an "all of the above" energy approach that reduces our dependence on foreign adversaries for imported resources. The United States is blessed with enormous endowments of cheap, reliable hydrocarbon energy resources that we should develop. Nuclear energy is another source we should actively develop.

Encouraging Innovation and Supporting Growth

By deregulating and unleashing America's entrepreneurial energy, we can encourage innovation in sectors ranging from cryptocurrency and blockchains to biotechnology and artificial intelligence. Policy should support entrepreneurs and risk-takers who are creating the industries of the future, here in America. [2]

Campaign website

Mansharamani's campaign website stated the following:

FREEDOM THROUGH AMERICAN STRENGTH

The overall philosophy of Vikram’s platform is that American strength, at home and abroad, can protect American freedom and our way of life. The foundation of American strength begins at home, with a vibrant economy that offers opportunity for all. It’s an economy that is self-reliant, dynamic, and driven by market forces and competition. It is an economy that rewards innovators and job-creators while compassionately catching those who fall. Strength abroad is a reflection of our values and the military capabilities we maintain. We need to acknowledge that China is not a competitor; it’s a strategic rival. We live in a world in which we must stand with our allies and respect human rights while avoiding unnecessary entanglements that put American lives at risk. When the United States is strong, our enemies take notice. When we project weakness, those same enemies take advantage of the situation. It’s only through strength at home and abroad that we can protect America and our key values. I believe those values are the primacy of individual rights, a limited role for government, a public sector that reflects the will of the citizens, and a legal immigration system that makes sense. When America embraces and protects these values, we become a land of freedom and opportunity that is the envy of the world.

“WHEN THE UNITED STATES IS STRONG, OUR ENEMIES TAKE NOTICE.”

– Vikram Mansharamani

THE SPECIFIC ELEMENTS OF VIKRAM’S AGENDA FOLLOW:

GROW THE ECONOMY:
We need to unleash the power of business to innovate and create jobs. We must lower taxes and reduce regulations to enable entrepreneurs to create the industries of the future and restore America as the world’s leading economic superpower.

STOP RUNAWAY INFLATION:
Today’s inflation is an unforced error. We printed, borrowed, and spent too much money. We need to return to fiscal responsibility by controlling spending and developing supply chains that don’t rely on China.

RESTORE ENERGY INDEPENDENCE:
In just over a year, we went from exporting energy to our friends to importing energy from our enemies. It’s time to restore US energy independence by adopting an “all of the above” approach to energy production.

GET TOUGH ON CHINA:
For decades, politicians assumed that including China in the world economy would transform it into a democracy. Instead, China is today a brutal authoritarian regime. We are in a great power rivalry with many fronts: a trade war, currency war, technology battle, arms race, and ultimately, a war of values. We must recognize China as a strategic threat.

SECURE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER:
America is a nation of immigrants who came in search of a better life. But we must secure our borders and stop the illegal immigration and free-flowing fentanyl. We can have a process for legal immigration while at the same time controlling who and what enters America.[2]
