Village & City Electrical Aggregation Questions, 4 (March 2012)
Four Electrical Aggregation Questions were on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the city and villages designated in Bureau County.
All four municipalities approved aggregation.[1]
These four measures sought to allow authorities in the areas to buy electricity in bulk in order to obtain lower rates for those who want to participate in the program. This measure was on the ballot in the city of Spring Valley and the villages of DePue, Malden and Walnut.[2]

The question on the ballot:
Shall the Village of DePue have the authority to arrange for the supply of electricity for its residential and small commercial retail customers who have not opted out of such program?[3] |
