A Village of Cleves electric aggregation proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Hamilton County, Ohio, where it was approved.[1]
This measure gave residents an option for electric aggregation.

Language on the ballot:
“ | Shall the Village of Cleves have the authority to aggregate the retail electric loads located in the Village of Cleves, and for
that purpose, enter into service agreements to facilitate for those loads the sale and purchase of electricity, such aggregation to occur automatically except where any person elects to opt out?[1][2] |
