A Village of Cleves tax levy was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Hamilton County, Ohio, where it was defeated.[1]
If approved, this measure will add a tax levy for 5 years for current expenses. If enacted, this measure will commence is 2012 to be first due in 2013.

Text of the Measure
Language on the ballot:
“ | An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Cleves, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding two and eight-tenths (2.8) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty-eight cents ($0.28) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[1][2] | ” |
