Vinay Reddy was a political speechwriter who worked in the Obama and Biden administrations. President Joe Biden (D) announced Reddy would be director of speechwriting in his White House on December 22, 2020.[1]
Biography
Reddy graduated from the Miami of University and The Ohio State University College of Law. Reddy was a speechwriter for Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and a deputy speechwriter for President Barack Obama's (D) 2012 re-election campaign. In the Obama administration, Reddy was a senior speechwriter at the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He was also the chief speechwriter to then-Vice President Joe Biden (D).[1]
After working as a senior advisor and speechwriter for the 2020 Biden presidential campaign, Reddy became the director of speechwriting in the Biden administration.[1]
