Vinay Reddy was a political speechwriter who worked in the Obama and Biden administrations. President Joe Biden (D) announced Reddy would be director of speechwriting in his White House on December 22, 2020.

Biography

Reddy graduated from the Miami of University and The Ohio State University College of Law. Reddy was a speechwriter for Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and a deputy speechwriter for President Barack Obama's (D) 2012 re-election campaign. In the Obama administration, Reddy was a senior speechwriter at the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He was also the chief speechwriter to then-Vice President Joe Biden (D).

After working as a senior advisor and speechwriter for the 2020 Biden presidential campaign, Reddy became the director of speechwriting in the Biden administration.
