Vince Danet
Vince Danet was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the At-Large Congressional District of the U.S. Virgin Islands.[1][2] Danet ran unopposed in the Republican primary. He was defeated by Stacey Plaskett (D) in the general election.[3]
Biography
Lieutenant Commander Danet earned his bachelor's degree in industrial management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was commissioned an ensign in the United States Navy in March 1984, became a Naval Flight Officer in November 1985 and then served as a Naval Aviator. He was honorably discharged in December 1998. Danet now works in the private sector for Crowley Caribbean Services, LLC as operations manager in St. Thomas, VI.[4]

Danet ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent the U.S. Virgin Islands' At-Large District.[1][2] Danet ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 2, 2014. He was defeated by Stacey Plaskett (D) in the general election.[3]
