|- Affordable Housing: Families in Tennessee are getting priced out of the neighborhoods they grew up in while Wall Street hedge funds buy up entire blocks of homes. That’s not a free market — that’s a rigged game. I’ll fight to stop corporate landlords from driving up rents, expand access to affordable housing, and make sure every family has a fair shot at owning a home.
- Affordable and Accessible Child Care: Too many parents are working two jobs but still can’t find affordable, safe childcare. That keeps families struggling and holds our economy back. I’ll push for policies that lower childcare costs, support childcare providers, and make sure every parent can go to work knowing their kids are safe and cared for.
- Affordable and Accessible Healthcare: Hospitals are closing and access to quality healthcare shouldn’t depend on your bank account or your zip code. I’ve seen firsthand how broken the system is — from my own family’s battles with diabetes and cancer. I’ll work to lower drug costs, protect Medicare and Medicaid, and expand coverage so nobody goes bankrupt just because they get sick.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
