Vincent Mulier
Vincent Mulier is an is a criminal defense attorney and a philosophy professor at Portland State University in Eugene, Oregon. He was a 2012 candidate for the 2nd Judicial District.[1]
Education
Mulier earned a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon and a J.D. from Willamette University.[1]
Career
Mulier works at his own law firm, which specializes in illegal searches and Miranda warning violations.[2][1]
2012 election
Mulier was defeated by Jay McAlpin in the November 6th election. He did not appear on the ballot and campaigned as a write-in.[2][3]

Delay in results
The results for the write-in race for the 2nd Judicial District, Position 7 were not released until November 20th.[4][5] The votes were hand-counted and talliers did not begin counting until the 13th.[6][7][3]
