Vincent P. Zurzolo is a judge on the United States bankruptcy court, Central District of California. He was appointed April 18, 1988, by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and reappointed April 18, 2002. In June 2015, the Ninth Circuit invited public comment for the court's consideration of reappointing Judge Zurzolo to a third term of office. The public comment period ended on July 17, 2015. On March 15, 2016, Judge Zurzolo was reappointed to a third term, which began on April 18, 2016. His current term will expire on April 17, 2030.[1][2][3]
Education
Judge Zurzolo earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego, in 1978, and his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 1982.[1]
Career
Zurzolo was chief judge for the Central District of California from 2007 until 2010.[1]
