First and foremost, I am a father and husband who loves his family and will do whatever it takes to defend the ones I love. I am also a deputy sheriff with the LA County Sheriff's Department. I took an oath to defend the US and CA Constitutions against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I take that oath very seriously. I am not beholded to any special interest groups or foreign governments. My allegiance is with the United States of America and California. Because of that, I will only serve the people I represent.
  • Protection your right to medical freedom.
  • Stopping the Chinese Communist Party influence in our state and country.
  • Defending your 2nd Amendment Right to defend yourselves against lawless criminals.
Giving the power to make decisions back to the people. The government does not co-parent with you. The government doesn not have the right to make medical decisions for you.
I admire Jocko Wilink because he is the epitome of a great leader, humble and compitent. I have attended a couple of his leadership courses and have learned a tremendous amount of lessons on how to be a selfless and effective leader.
1) Humility

2) Integrity

3) Compassion

4) Courage

5) Common Sense
The humility to listen and learn from others.

The courage to lead from the front and stand up against tyrants.

The integrity to do the right thing and admit when I'm wrong.

Compassion to try to understand different points of view.

Common sense in a time where it's not that common.
The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle. It's my favorite book because it helped me navigate a tough time in my life by teaching me to detach from my own ego. In turn, this led me the discovery that I need to be more selfless, leading to my main mission of helping people.
Keeping people from leaving California. The current elected officials have made this state almost unliveable. From high taxes to high crime rates, Californian residents are fleeing the state in record numbers because of poor decision making by state legislators.
No, because career politicians bear a huge part of the responsibility for the current issues we are facing. The manner in which current legislators have been governing doesn't work. They have consistently taken actions that only benefit themselves, at the expense of their suffering constituents.

Now is the time for change. This state desperately needs regular people to be in office, instead of professional politicians.
Yes, there has to be a give and take. In many instances, the solution is not left or right, it's somewhere in between.

The problems this state and country are facing presently is due to a lack of mental and idealogical flexibility. Both sides think they have the only right answer and the bickering that goes on doesn't lead to any solutions.

We need to work together because regardless of political party affiliation, we are all humans, living here on earth, at the same time in history. We are all connected, whether we realize it or not.
