Virden appointed new federal magistrate judge in Mississippi

Aberdeen, Mississippi: Jane Virden was appointed the new magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi on June 13, 2011. Virden, 49, will replace Magistrate Jerry Davis (Mississippi) when he retires this July 1st. She will work in Greenville, MS and will serve an eight-year term.[1]
