I am a CPA, licensed in the State of Michigan for nearly 30 years. I am a proud daughter, sister, friend, mother, aunt, grandmother. colleague, and student of life. My parents are Marine Corp veterans; they taught me to love God, my Country, and my neighbors. I am deeply interested in understand issues from all perspectives, and building trust and unity through civil discourse in our communities. Please join me in gaining each others' trust and creating stable economic freedom for everyone.
  • Let me know your concerns. Give me a call or text 269.598.7765
  • We need to focus on Economic Freedom, reducing inflation, reducing costs of food, gas, housing.
  • By focusing on commonalities, and focusing on transparencies, we can build trust and economic growth.
Economic growth is fundamental to our State's stability. We are considered an outbound state; more people are leaving and dying than are moving in and being born here in Michigan, especially in Metro Detroit.

To reverse this trend, we need to collaborate by promoting entrepreneurial local economic strategies; we need strong and quality schools; we need reliable and affordable energy and housing.

We need local government control, fiscal conservative policies, and transparency in reporting and budgeting.
I have a personal board of advisors who support and challenge me in my personal and professional development.

My mother, Cpl Sally Louise Patrick Ammerman, U.S. Marines and my father, Cpl Walter Edward Ammerman Jr., taught me a lifetime of lessons about working hard, living within your means, and caring about your neighbors. My mother served as Parma Township Treasurer (Jackson County) for 20 years, then as Deputy Treasurer for many years after. My parents owned their own business for more than 30 years; now that my father has passed, my mother and brother continue to own and manage the business. Small businesses are the heartbeat and soul of our communities.

Efficient and effective us of taxpayer dollars; promoting economic freedom for everyone.
I want my grandchildren to understand they have a Constitutional right, responsibility, and ability to participate in and uphold their freedoms and the freedoms of those around them.

I recall sitting on the couch with my parents when I was 7 years old, in 1973, and learning of the even/odd day plan for gasoline for our car to save energy. My parents also said we should not turn on our external Christmas lights that year to save energy. How can we re-create this unified respect for good policies in our Country while also respecting each other?
My first job, besides babysitting, was in the bakery at our local grocery store. I worked there for 4 years (my last 2 years in high school and my first 2 years in college.)
The Velveteen Rabbit, by Margery Williams. Polly Ballou, kindergarten teacher where I went to elementary school, gave it to me when I was in fourth grade and I was her student aid. She taught me so much about life (like the book - Everything We Need to Know We Learned in Kindergarten.)

The Cape, Eric Bibb
I have had to learn to set priorities and exercise self care.
The governor's office and the state legislature should work hand in hand for the benefit of constituents and stakeholders. Through upholding and defending the Democratic Republic, the two bodies should compliment each other. Decide on goals that are correct for the State of Michigan and set your trajectories to reach these goals; understand we may debate the paths, and in the goals we should be aligned.
The State of Michigan population is decreasing; we need to create avenues of inbound pathways to grow our population and our economy. In order to do so, we need conservative fiscal policies creating jobs and affordable food, gas, housing.
Of course. In my time with the Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP), we learned that it is absolutely important to be intentional about building relationships both with legislators on both sides of the aisle so that we can make the best decisions for all involved.
I would like to be part of these committees:

Financial Services
Government Ops
Health Policy

Tax Policy
I would like to run for offices where I can be the most beneficial to the community in which I reside, the State of Michigan, and the United States. We are in the midst of critical political, social, and economic times and I want to serve where I am most needed.
Compromise is one option for desirable policymaking; a better term might be collaboration. Sometimes compromise can lead to resentment, where collaboration might not. Essentially, it is critical to understand all perspectives of an issue and develop a collaborative plan to bring the best of a strong 2-party system to constituents and stakeholders.
