Submitted Biography "My name is Adam Grayson Murphy, and like you I am fed up with our system failing to uphold American Liberty. I graduated from Western Governor's University in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Software Development. That career has catapulted me into working on some large insurance software programs at AAA where I met my wife, and building out multi-billion dollar software in the investment/derivative space of reinsurance at my current employer for hedging/simulation/accounting sub-systems. I have worked in-between those in the manufacturing and aerospace sectors, and with consumer products and medical services for a time building web apps. My career in software development has given me a unique perspective. I have seen how corporations operate, some of the worst and some of the best. I know the type of loopholes and language they exploit. Now, I wasn't always a programmer writing critical system logic. My first job was a bagger and cart collector at a local grocery store (they called us courtesy clerks). My second was at Best Buy. My third was a dog bather at Petsmart (that was hard, tip your groomers man!) The benefit of my technological and programming experience is that I can put my money where my mouth is and actually demonstrate our elected officials insane lack of understanding of the digital world and the insane risk that places us all under. Real solutions for working Americans, centered around safeguarding all from the offenses of corporate overreach"

I often like to theorize a policy all the time. Learning the nuance of systems and optimizing them is something I do daily at work, so I enjoy improving them and making the more efficient. I have designed plans for all types of policy, some brand new, some improving existing laws, and others that I am saving for the right day.

The entire point of government, especially Federal Government, is to protect the rights and privileges of the People, from both government and corporate overreach.

Another part of policy I love, is how it meets the real world. Oftentimes a theory is just that, and the real policy needs all kinds of carve outs and considerations to make it most effective. That refinement process should be directly with the community
There are so many that are lacking nowadays. The most important should be Accountability, Integrity, Passion, Honesty, Earnestness, and making sure all conduct and laws voted on pass the standard of the American democracy's golden rule.

It should be illegal to knowingly lie to your constituents. Elected officials should have a public report on their wealth and income. It shouldn't be considered crazy to admit you were wrong or that you are learning.

And above all else, you can never forget the American Golden Rule of democracy written by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all [humans] are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

We would find how quickly laws the GOP tries to pass fall apart with that internal check. Bills should inherently be smaller and more focused anyway. Omnibus bills are terrible for America, just like the Death Bill they just passed.
9-11 First grade, would have been 6ish, I remember being late to school because we were watching the towers burn and fall right before school. Then we watched it all day at school. Was a bit like the day the earth stood still for me. I still remember the looks on everyone's faces. There were no jokes that day, only fear and confusion.
I was a Courtesy Clerk! A fancy name for a bagger and cart collector at a local grocery store. I started when I was 16 and worked there part-time until I was 17.
We have 3 out outside of geopolitical situations:

Climate change is always #1, every other problem on Earth is exasperated by climate change.

AI and Job Loss is the next immediate issue. The current path we are on will absolutely lead to loss of thousands of jobs, likely millions. That's on top of the privacy right violations that make up AI as well as there being no public AI option. To a lesser extent but still major is social media algorithms being gamed, and obscure.

Then finally, addressing American issues at home such as rising cost of living in housing & healthcare and stagnant wages
In certain situations, absolutely. I will never compromise my beliefs, however.
Any would be good, but with my skill set and background, technology and health would likely be the best locations for me, but I would be open to any.
