Virginia Circuit Courts
The Circuit Courts are trial courts in Virginia that have broad jurisdiction over cases such as felonies, family matters, and civil claims over $25,000.[1] The Circuit Courts share jurisdiction with the General District Courts over civil claims between $4,500 and $25,000.[1]
