Virginia Cobb

Virginia Cobb is an associate judge of District 5A of Iowa. She was appointed to this position in 2005.[1] Her current term expires in 2018.
Education
Cobb received her undergraduate and law degrees from Drake University in 1978 and 1982, respectively.[1]
Career
Cobb has worked as an assistant county attorney, private practice lawyer and instructor for Grand View College. In 1995, she was appointed magistrate for Dallas County. She worked in this capacity for 10 years, until her promotion to District Associate Judge in 2005.[1]
2012 election
Cobb was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 74.28% of the vote.[2][3]
