The Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) is a nonprofit organization of school boards in Virginia.
Background
The VSBA was founded in 1906. As of July 2025, the association's website says it "promotes excellence in public education through leadership, advocacy and services."[1] It describes itself as a "voluntary, nonpartisan organization of Virginia school boards." [1]
The VSBA announced in November 2021 that it would leave the National School Boards Association in June 2022.[2]
