Virginia Ward
Virginia Ward was a Utah judge for the Salt Lake City Justice Court in the Third Judicial District.[1] Judge Ward was first appointed to this position in July 2002.[2] She resigned in 2013 after being arrested on felony drug charges. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 3 years of probation in November 2013.[3]

Education
Ward earned her B.A. in political science from the University of Utah in 1989. She went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 1993.[2]
Career
From 1994 to 2000, Ward served as senior assistant Salt Lake City prosecutor. She then worked as a director of the Office of Administrative Hearings, Utah Department of Human Services, as an administrative law judge.[2]
