Vito C. Caruso

Vito C. Caruso was the District Administrative Judge for the 4th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to this position in 2004. He also served as a Supreme Court Justice of the 4th Judicial District beginning in 1995. Caruso was re-elected in 2008.[1][2] He retired from the court on August 31, 2022.[3]
Education
Caruso received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York College at New Paltz in 1971.[2]
Career
Caruso worked as an Assistant Schenectady County Attorney, Counsel to the New York State Assembly Minority, Counsel to the Town of Duanesbury (1978-1980), and as a principal of the law firm of Wemple & Caruso. He was elected to the Supreme Court in 1995 and was appointed Administrative Judge of the 4th Judicial District in 2004.[2]
