Vop Osili (Democratic Party) is a member of the Indianapolis City Council, representing District 12. He assumed office on January 1, 2024. His current term ends on January 1, 2028.
Osili (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Indianapolis City Council to represent District 12. He won in the general election on November 7, 2023.
Osili was elected to the District 15 seat on the council in 2011. He won election to the District 11 seat on November 3, 2015.[1]
Osili represented Indianapolis City Council District 15 from 2012 until 2024.
Biography
Osili received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Carnegie-Mellon University and a master's degree in architecture and urban design from Columbia University. He is an architect and founder of A+X, LLC.[1]

2015
The city of Indianapolis, Indiana, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A partisan primary election took place on May 5, 2015. The filing deadline for major party candidates who wished to run in this election was February 6, 2015. The filing deadline for independent or minor party candidates was July 15, 2015.[2] Twenty-five city council seats were up for election. Indianapolis's four at-large seats were not up for election, because those seats were scheduled to expire at the end of 2015.[3]
In District 11, Vop Osili (D) defeated Remington "Remy" O'Guin (R) in the general election. O'Guin filed to run after the primary. Incumbent Stephen Clay (D) ran for election to the District 13 seat.[4]
