W. Eddie Goodall
W. Edward (Eddie) Goodall (b. October 20, 1946) was a Republican member of the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 35.
Goodall is the former President of Union County Men's Republican Club. He was a candidate for the North Carolina State Senate in 2000 and 2002. He also served as Chair of the Union County Republican Party from 2003 to 2004. He joined the North Carolina State Senate in 2005 and served in that position until 2011. He represented the 35th District.
Background
Goodall earned his B.S. in accounting from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, in 1969.
Goodall has served in the North Carolina National Guard and has worked as Staff Accountant for Ernst and Young, Certified Public Accountants. He was the President of Goodall and Delliner from 1974 to 1988. He was then the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Atlas Marketing and Subsidiaries, Incorporated, from 1988 to 1993. He has been the President of Goodall Consulting, Practicing Accountants from 1994 to the present. He has also worked as Director of Business Development for Toler, Bly & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, Professional Limited Liability Company.

Expanding charter schools in North Carolina
Eddie Goodall discusses the importance of expanding charter schools following the N.C. Chamber of Commerce's conference on education. Goodall is leaving the N.C. Senate to lead the N.C. Alliance for Public Charter Schools. He says it's time for the state to lift its 100 school cap on charter schools.[2]
