W. Frank Brown, III was a chancellor for the Hamilton County Chancery Court in the Eleventh Judicial District of Tennessee. He began serving in this position in 1998 and was re-elected without opposition in 2006.[1][2][3]

As Brown announced he would not seek re-election when his term expired, he retired from office on August 31, 2014.[4]

Education

Brown received his undergraduate degree from Randolph-Macon College in 1967 and his law degree from Tulane University in 1970.[1]

Career

Brown worked as a private practice lawyer with various law firms for 28 years prior to becoming a Chancellor in 1998. He was an associate with Gaither, Abernathy & Wilson, an associate and partner with Scruggs, Seal & Alt, and a partner with Breazeale & Brown.[1]
