W. Howard LaPorte was a judge of the First Circuit Court in Walton County, Florida. He joined the court in 2005. He retired when his term expired on January 5, 2015.[1][2][3]

Education

LaPorte received his B.A. degree from William Carey College in 1967 and his J.D. degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 1971.[2]

Career

LaPorte began his career in 1972 as a sole practitioner. In 2004, he became a general magistrate for the First Judicial Circuit. The following year, he joined the circuit court.[2]
