W. Lowell Bray, Jr.
W. Lowell Bray, Jr. was a judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to this position by former Governor Bob Graham on July 1, 1983 and was elected to his first full term the following year. Bray retired from the court in December 2013.[1][2][3][4]
Education
Bray received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and his master's degree in English from Louisiana Tech University in 1967 and 1969, respectively. He then received his J.D. degree from the University of Florida School of Law in 1973.[1][2]
Career
Prior to attending law school, Bray worked as a teacher at Ebarb High School (1968-1969) and an English instructor at Florida Junior College (1969-1971). Bray is a former partner of the law firm of Allgood, McPherson, Stewart, Bray & Misemer, where he specialized in criminal, civil and family law. He was appointed to the circuit court in 1983 and retired in 2013.[1][5]
