Scott Fay was a 2013 Republican candidate for District 8 of the New Jersey General Assembly.[1]

Biography

Fay earned his B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois and his M.S. in Environmental Engineering from West Virginia University. His previous professional experience includes a progression of sales, marketing, and general executive management positions.[2]

Fay's campaign website stated that he "is running to do his part in bringing government back to the role envisioned by the founding fathers, and guaranteed by the Constitution. He stands for more personal individual freedom, a smaller government with reduced powers, and a market-driven economy with equality of opportunity resulting from a vibrant, transparent, private sector."[2]

Fay ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 8. Fay was bracketed with Gary E. Jacques and was defeated by Chris Brown and Maria Rodriguez-Gregg in the June 4 Republican primary. The general election took place on November 5, 2013.[3]
