Wade Crowfoot is the California Secretary for Natural Resources. Crowfoot assumed office in 2019. Crowfoot's current term ends on January 4, 2027.

Biography
Crowfoot was the CEO of the Water Foundation from 2016 to 2018. He worked in the administration of California Governor Jerry Brown (D) as a deputy cabinet secretary and senior advisor from 2013 to 2016 and as deputy director for the Office of Planning and Research from 2011 to 2013. Crowfoot served as the West Coast political director at the Environmental Defense Fund from 2009 to 2011. He was senior environmental advisor to then-San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom from 2004 to 2007.[1]
