Walker Agnew Jr. was born in Houston, Texas. He earned a high school diploma from Stratford High School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi in 2009. As of 2025, Agnew was affiliated with Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Wilchester Men's Club, and Memorial Drive United Methodist Church.[1]

Walker was raised in SBISD attending school in SBISD PreK-12th grade. Outside of work, community service is a cornerstone of Walker’s life. He has served on various SBISD committees. He is an active PTA member and district volunteer. Walker also serves as a Captain on the Parade Committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where he has served since 2011. Most recently, Walker has served as a board member of the Wilchester Men’s Club, which has raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to various local charities benefiting schools, families, and children within the district.
