Wallace Capel, Jr.
Wallace Capel, Jr. was a federal magistrate judge with the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. He served from 2006 to 2020.[1] Capel was previously a magistrate for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan from 1999 to 2006.[2]
Biography
Education
Capel earned a B.S. from the University of Utah in 1977, an M.P.A. from Auburn University-Montgomery in 1979, and a J.D. from Wayne State University in 1982.[3]
Professional experience
Capel's career experience included working as a private practice lawyer, a deputy federal public defender in Michigan, and as an assistant attorney general in Christiansted, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.[3]
