Walter Davis
Walter W. Davis was the judge of the Georgia Business Court. He joined the court on August 1, 2020. Governor Brian Kemp (R) appointed Davis to the position July 15, 2019, and Davis was confirmed on August 14, 2019.[1]
Davis was the first judge to serve on the Georgia Business Court, which was established in 2019.
Davis resigned from the court on June 22, 2022 to return to the private sector, although he agreed to stay on the court until a successor was appointed.[2]
Education
Davis obtained his B.A. in philosophy and political science from Mercer University in 1998. He earned a J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 2001.[3]
