Walter Inglewood Smith (1862-1922) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.

He was nominated by President William Howard Taft on January 17, 1911 to fill the seat vacated by Willis Van Devanter. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 31st, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on January 27, 1922.[1]
