Walter Iwachiw
Walter Iwachiw (Republican Party) ran for election for President of the United States. Iwachiw lost as a write-in in the Republican convention on August 24, 2020.
Iwachiw was a Republican candidate for mayor of New York, New York. Iwachiw initially filed to run in the primary on September 12, 2017, but did not appear on the candidate list published on August 4, 2017.
Iwachiw was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 37 of the New York State Assembly. He was removed from the ballot before the primary.[1]

Elections for the New York State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Incumbent Catherine Nolan was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Walter Iwachiw was removed from the ballot before the Republican primary. Nolan also ran on the Working Families Party ticket. John Kevin Wilson ran as a Libertarian candidate. Nolan defeated Wilson in the general election.[4][5][6][7]
