Walter Shapero was a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Michigan. He was appointed to the bench of the Eastern District of Michigan in 1988 and he retired from the bench in 2016.[1]

Education

Judge Shapero attended The University of Michigan for his Bachelors degree and The University of Virginia for his Bachelor of Law Degree.[2]

Career

Shapero clerked for a Michigan Supreme Court Justice and later entered private practice with Shapero, Shapero, and Cohn, which merged to become Bromberg, Robinson, Shapero, Cohn, and Burgoyne, which became part of the firm of Butzel Long.[1]
