Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Rentas' campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Federal Spending: Our current administration believes that a blank check can resolve our problems by increasing our National debt on a daily basis. It has not worked for the past eight years, it cannot continue in this direction and it must be blocked from increasing. I believe that eliminating wasteful spending and lower taxes will facilitate in this effort. We, the people need to be personally responsible in our homes and we must demand he same responsibility is enforced in our Government.
  • Military and Veterans: They are brave, love our Country, willing to die for us, believe in God and the United States of America. I am forever grateful for their service and saddened by the negative treatment they often receive. I respect and honor each and every one. I will work diligently to provide them with quality healthcare, the necessary tools when they are in combat, education and employment.
  • Economy: The economy cannot thrive without providing education, incentives, grants and tax cuts for entrepreneurs, small business and established business to prosper and create job opportunities for our community. We must improve the available resources and keep them in the USA!
