Warden School District 146, Capital Tax Levy (November 2009)
A Tax to Expand and Renovate Schools in District 161 was on the November 3, 2009 ballot in Adams County.
The measure failed.[1]
This proposition would have enacted a tax on all taxable property within the district and would have been used to expand and renovate schools within the district. Renovations included the kitchen and cafeteria areas and the high school locker rooms and gymnasium.

The ballot read:
"CAPITAL LEVY TO EXPAND AND RENOVATE SCHOOL FACILITIES The Board of Directors of Warden School District No. 146-161-J adopted Resolution No. 10-08-09, concerning a proposition to finance expansion and renovation of school facilities. This proposition would authorize the District to expand and renovate the cafeteria-kitchen facility and renovate the Warden High School locker rooms and gymnasium, and levy the following excess taxes, on all taxable property within the District:
