Warren Leroy Jones (1895 - 1993) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Education

Jones received his LL.B from the University of Denver College of Law in 1924.[1]

Federal judicial career

Fifth Circuit

Warren Jones was nominated to the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit by Dwight Eisenhower on March 4, 1955. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 19, 1955 and received his commission on April 21, 1955.[1]

Eleventh Circuit

Jones was reassigned to the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit on October 1, 1981. He assumed senior status on February 17, 1966. His service ended with his death on November 11, 1993.[1]
