Warren Masami Kato
Warren Masami Kato is a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California. Masami Kato assumed office in 2021. Masami Kato's current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Masami Kato won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Governor Gavin Newsom (D) appointed Kato to the court on March 25, 2021, to replace Edmund Willcox Clarke, Jr.[1]
Biography
Kato received his J.D. from the University of La Verne College of Law. Prior to his appointment, he had served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office since 1999.[1]
