Warren Petryk
Warren Petryk (Republican Party) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing District 93. He assumed office in 2011. He left office on January 6, 2025.
Petryk (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Wisconsin State Assembly to represent District 93. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Petryk obtained a B.A. in philosophy and music from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Prior to his election, Petryk was the community relations coordinator for United Cerebral Palsy of West Central Wisconsin. He has served as a member of the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce, the Eau Claire Rod and Rifle Club, the National Rifle Association, and Pheasants Forever. He co-founded "The Memories" - a musical entertainment group.[1][2]

Elections for all 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Jeff Smith was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Warren Petryk was unopposed in the Republican primary. Smith and Petryk faced off in the general election.[7][8] Incumbent Petryk defeated Smith in the general election, and was re-elected for another term.[9]

Petryk defeated Democratic incumbent Jeffrey Smith in the November 2 general election. He defeated Mike Conlin and Isaac Weix in the primary election.[11]
A recount request was filed with the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board on November 9, 2010.[12] A recount was scheduled for November 12, 2010.[13] The recount produced no changes.[14]
