Warren R. Sagstuen
Warren R. Sagstuen is a retired Minnesota Fourth Judicial District judge serving on senior status in Hennepin County, Minnesota. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Jesse Ventura in October 2000 and was elected to full terms in 2002 and 2008. Sagstuen retired on September 14, 2010, but continued to serve as a senior judge for the court until June 30, 2013.[1][2]
Education
Sagstuen received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota in 1967 and 1972, respectively.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Sagstuen worked for the firm of LeFevere, Leffler, Hamilton & Pearson, starting in 1973. He then joined the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office in 1976.[1]
