|My wife Karen and I met as agriculture students at Iowa State University and returned to the family farm in Adair County after we finished our educations. We have been married for 36 years and are parents of four grown children, We are active the United Methodist Church. I have more than 25 years of experience in my law practice in Stuart and running our family farm. I have served as an effective local leader in rural economic development in this district. I am active in numerous community organizations including the Stuart Library Foundation, the Adair County Farm Bureau, and many others. Trustee on the Adair County Memorial Hospital Board.I am committed to listening and learning from the people in this district, not influential donors and lobbyists.
