To provide funding for basic services such as: Sheriffs deputy response to violent crimes, burglaries/ gangs; 9-1-1 emergency medical/ fire response; Gang prevention programs; Pothole, lighting/ street repairs; Park safety/ maintenance, senior/ disabled transit services; and Water conservation; shall an ordinance be adopted to enact a one-cent sales tax until ended by voters, providing $1,100,000 annually, requiring independent audits, public review of spending, and all revenues controlled locally?[2] |
