Organization

The commission is made up of 11 members: three state judges, two attorneys and six members of the public. The judges are selected by the courts (one by the Washington Court of Appeals, one by the Washington Superior Court and one by other courts of limited jurisdiction), the lawyers by the State Bar Association, and the members of the public by the governor. There are also 11 alternate members. Members have four-year terms.[2]
