Washington Initiative 49 was on the ballot as an initiated state statute in Washington on November 4, 1924. It was defeated.

A “yes” vote supported requiring all children within Washington between the ages of seven and sixteen years to attend public schools.

A “no” vote opposed requiring all children within Washington between the ages of seven and sixteen years to attend public schools.
