The Washington Motor Vehicle Voter Approval, Initiative 1179, did not appear on the November 2011 statewide ballot in Washington as an Initiative to the People.
The initiative would have prohibited any government-imposed motor vehicle charges from taking effect unless approved by voters.[1][2]
Six initiatives were filed: 1112, 1124, 1137, 1150, 1174, 1179.
Initiative sponsors included: Tim Eyman, Leo J. Fagan and M.J. Fagan.

In order to qualify for the ballot, supporters were required to submit a minimum of 241,153 valid signatures. As of July 8, 2011, petition deadline day, no signatures were filed.
