The Washington State Inspector General Measure, also know as Initiative 1244, did not appear on a 2013 election ballot in the state of Washington as an Initiative to the People. The measure would have created the office of state inspector general. The purpose of the position would have been to handle and investigate allegations of fraud within the government. The measure was sponsored by Tim Eyman.[1]

In order to qualify for the November ballot, supporters were required to submit a minimum of 246,372 valid signatures by July 5, 2013. They were not able to collect enough signatures by the deadline.[2]
