A Watertown Township Fire Levy Replacement question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Washington County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question authorized the Township of Watertown to impose a replacement property tax levy of up to 1.5 mills ($1.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund fire and emergency protection services.[1]

Language on the ballot:
“ | A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Watertown Township for the purpose of FIRE AND EMERGENCY PROTECTION at a rate not exceeding one and one-half (1.5) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to fifteen cents ($0.15) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2013, first due incalendar year 2014.
