Wayne Bridewell
Wayne Bridewell is the judge of the 249th District Court in Texas.[1] He began serving in 1991 and was re-elected in 2014.[2] His term expired on December 31, 2018.[3][4]
Education
Bridewell earned an undergraduate degree in government from Tarleton State University. He went on to receive his J.D. from Texas Tech University and also received certification from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Criminal Law.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial election in 1991, Bridewell was a county judge for Johnson County. He also served as an assistant district attorney and a county attorney for Johnson and Somervell counties.[2]
