Wayne C. Shelton is a judge for the Montgomery County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He also has jurisdiction in the Montgomery County Juvenile Court. He was appointed to this position in 1979. He is based out of Clarksville.[1] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires on August 31, 2022.[2]

Education

Shelton received his B.A. in philosophy from Rhodes College in 1967 and his J.D. from the University of Memphis Law School in 1973.[1]

Career

Shelton is a former private practice lawyer. He practiced in Clarksville. He joined the general sessions and juvenile courts in 1979.[1]
