Wayne Fontana (Democratic Party) is a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing District 42. He assumed office on June 14, 2005. His current term ends on November 30, 2026.

Fontana (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Pennsylvania State Senate to represent District 42. He declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on May 19, 2026.[source]

Before he became a state senator, Fontana served on the Allegheny County Council from 2000 to 2005 as well as serving as a Ward Committee-person for the Allegheny Democratic Party from 1994 to 2006.

Biography

Fontana earned a A.A. from the Community College of Allegheny County in 1971. His professional experience includes working as a real estate broker.
