Langerholc's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[6]
Experience we can trust
- Excerpt: "Wayne has dedicated his career to protecting local families as an Assistant District Attorney, and to protecting taxpayers while serving as a local township supervisor."
Protect our families and children
- Excerpt: "As an Assistant District Attorney, he is the lead prosecutor for the Cambria County Drug Task Force where he maintains a 100% felony trial conviction record working to keep families and children safe."
A strong voice for hard working taxpayers
- Excerpt: "Raised in a working class family, Wayne knows families and seniors cannot afford to pay more of their hard earned money toward higher taxes, especially during these tough times.
Good paying jobs, not politics as usual
- Excerpt: "Wayne criticized the on-going push to increase state taxes because he believes it is based on liberal politics, not sound judgement. He knows these efforts will only hamper economic development efforts and cause the state to become less competitive at a time our region can least afford it."
Public service not self-service
- Excerpt: "Wayne is running because he believes elective service should be about, 'Public service, not self-service.' He has pledged to maintain an open and transparent office so you know how your tax dollars are spent."

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
