H. Wayne Norman Jr. (b. November 3, 1955) was a Republican member of the Maryland State Senate, representing District 35 from 2015 to 2018. Norman passed away on March 4, 2018.[1]

Norman served in the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 35A from his appointment in January 2008 to January 2015. Norman served as Minority Parliamentarian in his final two years in the House.

The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Bridget Kelly was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Wayne Norman defeated Thomas Wilson in the Republican primary. Norman defeated Kelly in the general election.[2][3][4]
