Wayne Wallingford
Wayne Wallingford (Republican Party) was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 147. He assumed office on January 6, 2021. He left office on January 3, 2022.
Wallingford (Republican Party) ran for election to the Missouri House of Representatives to represent District 147. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Wallingford resigned from the state House in January 2022 after Mike Parson (R) appointed him as director of the Missouri Department of Revenue.[1]
Wallingford served in the Missouri State Senate, representing District 27 from 2013 to 2021. He also previously served in the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 158 from 2011 to 2013.
Biography
Wayne Wallingford served in the United States Air Force for 25 years. Wallingford earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1968 and an M.A. in management supervision and healthcare administration from Central Michigan University in 1983. His career experience includes working as chief people officer for McDonald's of Southeast Missouri.[2]

Wallingford was a potential candidate in the 2013 special election for the U.S. House, representing Missouri's 8th District. The election was held to replace Jo Ann Emerson. The general election was held on June 4, 2013.[8]
Jason T. Smith was selected by the GOP to be its nominee in the general election.[9][10]
